ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES
For residential property sales

We provide independent Energy Performance Certificates required for marketing purposes and will provide these with the graphs directly to your appointed agent.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES
For rental properties

EPC's will be required to be made available to all tenants to view from October 2008. We can provide the EPC for the landlord to meet this requirement.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES
For commercial buildings

An EPC is required for marketing for sale or lease of all commercial properties. These EPCs can only be provided by a Commercial (or Non-Domestic) Energy Assessor. We are able to provide EPCs for level 3 and level 4 commercial buildings.

NEW BUILD ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES
For domestic properties

An EPC is now required for the sale of all completed new build homes, the PEA is provided from the design drawings for marketing purposes before the construction is completed. This type of EPC can only be provided by an accredited OCDEA.

SAP ASSESSMENTS
For building regulations Part L1A

SAP Assessments are required by Local Authority Building Control Officers, to assess the energy consumption and carbon emissions of a proposed building and to ensure compliance with the current regulations.

HIGHLY GLAZED EXTENSIONS
For building regulations Part L1B

Where the area of glazing within an extension exceeds 25% of the floor area, then the Building Control Officer will require specific calculations to ensure that the minimum standard of energy efficiency is at least met within the design of the extension. There are a number of methods available to achieve compliance.

NEW BUILD ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES
For commercial properties

New build commercial properties are required to have an energy assessment at the design stage and upon completion to ensure compliance with the current building regulations.

FLOOR PLANS
For marketing details

In addition to the EPC we can provide floor plans for any property. These are produced using Metropix, the most commonly used floor plan software by estate agents. This can be accessed by the agents or provided to you if selling privately and drawing up your own literature

HOME INFORMATION PACKS (HIPs)
For residential property sales

From 21st May 2010, HIPs are no longer mandatory for marketing a home. This service is still available on a voluntary basis.
